Helping you access the care, support and accommodation of your choice

Introduction to Ageing SA

Australia is very fortunate to have a high quality, well regulated, government funded aged care system that offers a wide range of service options to those who are hoping to remain in their own homes and to those who need to go into care. The range and diversity of services available can make it quite confusing and time consuming to identify and secure the best options for ourselves or our family members when we need to – particularly if choices need to be made quite quickly.

Catalyst Foundation, through our Ageing SA consultants, is pleased to be able to offer a fee based service that can assist you to live your life your way.

Our Consultants
Our Ageing SA consultants have extensive first-hand experience in Residential, Community support, Aged Care system and Retirement Living. We provide up-to-date knowledge of the service options available, eligibility, access requirements and applicable costs, aged care provider considerations, quality standards and consumer rights.

We also understand that making decisions about care whether it is in the home or in residential care can be both time consuming and complex. Ageing SA is here to provide support.

Ageing SA is part of the Catalyst Foundation and we have immediate access to the only regularly updated vacancy list for Residential Care in South Australia. We also have access to the range of services available and accommodation options more generally.

What does Ageing SA do?
Our Ageing SA consultants are able to assist and guide individuals and families to understand:

  • Residential Aged Care
  • Home and Community care services
  • Retirement Living including retirement villages and parks and independent living units
  • The range of service or programs available to you to remain independent in your home
  • Eligibility requirements for the various services and programs
  • Costs attaching to the various services and programs
  • Processes that need to be completed in order to access those services.

Ageing SA Service Costs
The fee structure for our consultants depends on the nature of the service required. We can offer assistance through charging a flat fee for service or by an hourly rate.

Our fees are fixed and we will work with you to find the fee structure that suits the service.
