Abuse Prevention Videos for Women and Girls Living with Disability

The Legal Services Commission has released two new  legal assistance videos to assist South Australian women and girls living with disability. These films explain legal and other protections that are available to women and girls who are at risk of or experiencing abuse – in particular, domestic and family violence and elder abuse. These films use Auslan, captions and use Easy Access English narration and Transcripts are available for each film and captions are embedded in each video.
The information is delivered by Deaf Presenter Sarah Lewis and a Blind Narrator, Nastasia Campanella. The films also include digital safety messaging, a feature which is critical for making sure that women are able to look up their information securely online.
