Catalyst Foundation is an inclusive, independent and charitable organisation seeking to improve the lives of all South Australians in the areas of Ageing, Disability, Lifestyle, Employment, Business and Learning.

Formerly known and trusted in South Australia as the Seniors Information Service, we changed the organisation’s name to Catalyst Foundation in 2016 to reflect the growth in our services and the communities we serve and to underline the value of making a difference through action.

We provide information on:

  • Housing and low cost rental accommodation
  • Residential aged care
  • Concessions and benefits
  • Independent living and home support
  • Employment and business
  • Retirement housing

We provide support to all South Australians and have a special focus on:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Communities
  • Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Communities

Our services include:

  • Ageing SA -accommodation placement service
  • Disability Support Marketplace – an online resource for people living with disability
  • Support to navigate My Aged Care, myGov
  • Legal Services including Legal Brokers and Legal Services Clinic
  • Seminars including Accessing Help at Home and Aged Care Fees and Charges
  • IT Training and support including learning to use computers, tablets and smart phones
  • Tax Help
