Where to find inclusive services<\/h2><\/div><\/div>

Unfortunately, some apps and online services do not have measures in place to create a safe and inclusive environment for trans individuals or to allow them to control when they disclose their identity. This can make it difficult for trans people to use these services comfortably and confidently.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

For example, certain social media platforms may not allow users to choose a preferred name, or they may employ artificial intelligence that makes it difficult or impossible for trans individuals to create an account. These types of practices can make it challenging for trans people to use these services and can create a hostile or unwelcoming environment.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Everyone has the right to be accepted for who they are. If a social media platform is not inclusive or welcoming to you, it is important to remember that you have the power to choose to use a different service that is more accepting and safer. It is important to prioritize your own well-being and find online spaces that are supportive and welcoming.

If you feel safe and comfortable doing so, you may want to consider calling out non-inclusive policies or practices on online services. In some cases, these services may be willing to update their policies and practices to be more inclusive.
